1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the RHYDER application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

RHYDER is a woman-driving-woman rideshare platform that connects passengers with drivers in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe metropolitan areas. Our service is designed to provide safe transportation options for women and transgender individuals.

3. Eligibility

For Passengers:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must identify as a woman or transgender individual
  • Must have a valid phone number for verification

For Drivers:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must identify as a woman or transgender individual
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have valid auto insurance
  • Must pass a background check through Checkr
  • Must have a vehicle that is 2015 or newer

4. Payments and Fees

  • Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and applicable surge pricing
  • A flat service fee of $2.50 is added to each ride
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • 100% of tips go directly to drivers
  • Cancellation fees may apply for rides cancelled after a driver has been assigned

5. User Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Treat all users with respect and dignity
  • Not engage in discriminatory behavior
  • Not engage in illegal activities
  • Not use the service while impaired
  • Maintain accurate profile information
  • Report any safety concerns immediately

6. Safety

While we take significant measures to ensure safety, including background checks and verification processes, RHYDER does not guarantee the safety of any ride. Users are encouraged to:

  • Verify the driver and vehicle before entering
  • Share trip details with trusted contacts
  • Use the in-app emergency SOS feature if needed
  • Report any concerns to our safety team

7. Ratings and Reviews

Both passengers and drivers can rate each other after a ride. Users with consistently low ratings may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

8. Termination

RHYDER reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a safety risk to our community.

9. Limitation of Liability

RHYDER provides a platform to connect passengers with independent contractor drivers. We are not responsible for the actions of drivers or passengers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RHYDER shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
