Delete Your Account

At RHYDER, you have full control over your data. If you would like to permanently delete your account and all associated personal information, please follow the steps below. We will process your request within 30 days.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can request deletion of your account in one of two ways:

Through the App

  1. Open the RHYDER app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account and confirm

Via Email

Send an email to tech@rhyder.club with the subject line "Delete My Account". Please include the phone number associated with your account so we can locate and delete your data.

What Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Profile photo and gender identity information
  • Saved places (home, work, favorites)
  • Emergency contacts
  • Payment methods and saved cards
  • Driver documents (license, insurance, registration, vehicle photos)
  • Location history and GPS data
  • Ratings and reviews you have submitted
  • Push notification tokens and device identifiers

What May Be Retained

Certain data may be retained after account deletion for legal, tax, or safety compliance purposes:

  • Transaction records — ride receipts and payment history are retained for up to 7 years as required by financial and tax regulations. This data is anonymized and dissociated from your identity.
  • Safety incident records — if a safety incident or dispute was filed involving your account, relevant records may be retained for up to 7 years for legal purposes.
  • Aggregated analytics — non-identifiable, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

Processing Timeline

  • ⏱ Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt.
  • 📧 You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
  • 🔒 Once deleted, your account cannot be recovered.
